So there we were staring up at her- in all her glory. The infamous terminal cancer couloir in Nevada. My second time skiing it so a lot less intimidating, but the first time I can remember shaking in my boots with this view.

Our main concern for avalanches was the warming temps- around 40 degrees when we started at 11am. Good news, north facing line and honestly not much hangfire because it appeared to be pretty bare on lookers left and right of the couly. Our game plan was to watch for slabs in the apron and roller balls. If we saw a lot of roller balls/wet slides we might turn around and try next morning.

The apron had cold snow, we were pleasantly surprised! Dustin (my super rad bad ass pharmacist ski buddy ) let me borrow his ice axe for the ascent.

What a beautiful line, beautiful day- holy shit am I ever grateful to be here. This is by far the most aesthetic and easily accessible line I’ve ever skied. To my surprise there was NO ONE THERE ALL DAY!!!! Because we were all alone- I figured I HAD to ski this baby topless.

Up we go!!!

super stoked on my Sego Skis!!! They popped off in this couloir and always do on the lines I ski. This company is the raddest- be prepared to hear me talk about how awesome my skis are often haha. They fucking rippppppp.

Nothing like a really rad tour buddy. This is Dustin’s first time up. He brought a lovely costume for you to see.

Up and up and up we go. It looks like you’re close but just keeps going and going. Booter was in and kinda steep and sketch in spots. Thank god for sharp things!! so pretty. We stopped for a beer halfway up. Why not get yer buzz on? (:

finally made it to the top!!! I’m starting to stress out because it’s kind Of cold in here and I’m about to strip down to titties and jorts. We Hmmm... maybe I should have a beer about it?

Thanks Dustin for always supplying the high pointers haha. Time to mentally prepare to get naked!

Okay so jorts are on- and Dustin is now wearing a tie dye onsie with a butt flap. Let’s fucking goooo!!! I’m not going to lie, the entrance at the top of the couloir is steep and chalky and very narrow. Somehow I’m going to not eat shit half naked down this thing. I am stressing a bit now. Gotta give myself a pep talk!

Dustin about to drop. Send itttt

TITS AND TURNS BABY, TITS AND TURNS

so right before my drop, I dropped my glove and it went flying down the first 200 feet of this thing. I did successfully grab it- eventually haha. In this photo you can see I voile strapped a beer to my back pocket for convenience. The beer was consumed at the first safety point. Yes.

Chugging a brew, now the couloir starts to open up more and I start to get a buzz and actually be able to rip some turns... let’s do this! Half way down! Dustin also lowered his booty flap.... back that thang up 😍

Starting to get nipply out here!

Can’t believe I made it to the end! We did it.

Dumped the titties out, skied a rad line on a perfect day with my bud in the sunshine in a wild mountain range in the middle of the Desert somewhere. It was the most freeing feeling to be naked and ski and I was surprised that was the way I would feel. Liberating! Why should I ever be ashamed of freeing the nip! Thanks for the inspiration Chelsea Handler. I plan to continue this journey.... and ski more topless lines. Stay tuned!

as for now.... we head to wells nv for sketchy motels and hot springs!
